Sturbridge Advanced Learning (SAL) is a nonprofit corporation formed to provide elementary, secondary and high school students the opportunity to expand their learning outside the classroom. SAL was founded by MA public school teachers and has provided tutoring services to local schools for over three years.
Our tutors have particular expertise in SAT/ACT standardized test preparation. Learn valuable test taking tools to raise your scores in math, reading and writing for standardized tests. Private SAT prep is more effective than group courses and less expensive. Our tutors use the same materials as learning centers yet we can tailor our private tutoring sessions to your child's strengths and weaknesses. SAT Prep is conducted in eight 2-hour sessions and will include a timed practice test. We recommend an additional two 2-hour sessions to prepare for ACT.
